This Military Appreciation Day, we’re proud to recognize the veterans and allies across Americold who help support those transitioning from military service into meaningful civilian careers. Through the Americold Military Veteran Core Champion Program, veteran leaders and advocates across our business help service members and veterans find a place where their experience and leadership continue to matter. In just one week, Americold associates helped distribute essential resources to 800 families across Atlanta, Georgia. Through our partnership with Feed the Children and collaboration with Fulton County Schools, we hosted three Resource Rallies at local high schools. Teams from our facilities and our corporate office came together to distribute resource boxes and organize food pantry supplies. We’re thankful for the associates who bring our value of Giving Back to life and for the partnerships that help amplify our impact across the communities we live and work in!
This Black History Month, we celebrate the voices, experiences, and contributions of associates across Americold. Their dedication, leadership, and shared commitment to one another strengthen our culture and keep our business moving forward. #AmericoldProud #iBelong
The City of Kissimmee officially proclaimed January 13 as “Americold Appreciation Day” in recognition of our associates’ community contributions and company-wide commitment to Giving Back. During our 2026 Americold Leadership Conference, more than 400 Americold leaders lived out our company value of Giving Back. For the second year in a row, we volunteered with Helping Others Make the Effort (H.O.M.E.), revitalizing the neighborhood by restoring outdoor playgrounds, refreshing garden spaces, cleaning homes, and creating welcoming environments that families can look forward to when they return home. In total, Americold associates donated over 2,500 volunteer service hours, representing more than $127,500 in community impact for the local nonprofit. We are grateful for this recognition from the city of Kissimmee and thankful for our associates that value the opportunity to give back to the communities where we live and work.
Across the APAC region, our Americold teams have rolling up their sleeves to support communities experiencing food insecurity, turning rescued ingredients into thousands of nutritious meals. Our Finance & Shared Services teams spent a day of Giving Back with OzHarvest, “Cooking for a Cause”, using rescued supermarket ingredients to make 264 nutritious meals that go directly to charities across Greater Sydney. The Murarrie team prepared 2,257 meals in collaboration with FareShare’s Brisbane kitchen to support Australian communities experiencing hardship, an experience that offered powerful insight into how rescued food supports Queenslanders. These moments remind us that when we come together, even small actions create meaningful change. Thank you to all our APAC teams for showing what it truly means to be Americold Proud.
A new episode of the Americold "Voices at the Table" podcast, part of our Women in Americold initiative, is now live! Our second episode, "Building Community Through Giving Back," brings together leaders from two of Americold’s key philanthropic partners, Feed the Children and Girls on the Run International, organizations that share our commitment to supporting the communities where we live and work. Angela Moon, Associate Manager of Brand Marketing, hosts a thoughtful conversation with Colleen Finn Ridenhour, Chief Growth & Strategy Officer at Feed the Children, Lea Rolfes, Executive Director at Girls on the Run Georgia, and Cindy Parker, Director of Operations at Americold. Together, they discuss how giving back strengthens teams, deepens community connections, and builds a culture grounded in purpose—both inside and outside the workplace. 🎥Watch our latest episode here.
Across the Americold APAC network, teams paused on 12 September to recognize R U OK? Day—a reminder of how powerful a simple check-in can be. Team huddles created space for open conversations, connection, and support, while our leaders reinforced the message: “Check on your mate”—today and every day. A warm cup of coffee and cupcakes helped bring people together, but it was the meaningful conversations that mattered most.
At Americold, the holiday season is a time to recognize the people who make it all possible. Across our global network, our associates ensure that the food families rely on for their celebrations moves safely, efficiently, and on time. Their dedication keeps supply chains strong and helps bring holiday traditions to life. Thank you to all Americold associates whose hard work supports our customers and communities during one of the busiest seasons of the year.
When women lead with purpose, the entire industry moves forward. Americold was honored to sponsor the Women in Cold Chain Workshop at the #GCCACon25, where women executives and emerging leaders explored the power of their leadership aura. Led by PEGINE Echevarria, the session reinforced leadership is about showing up with clarity, confidence, and intention - and creating space for others to do the same. From the warehouse floor to professional associations, we’re building a stronger, more connected leadership community across the cold chain. #AmericoldProud #WomenInColdChain #GCCA2025 #VoicesAtTheTable
