The Misson of Mapper LLC is to be the best MEMS manufacturer in Russia.
Mapper LLC is a former child of MAPPER Lithography BV that used to manufacture electron optic elements for its parent company. Mapper LLC was bought by Rusnano in 2019 and in this way survived the bankruptcy of Mapper Lithography in January 2020.
Today Mapper LLC manufactures various MEMS products in its fab in Moscow, Russia.
Below is the history of MAPPER Lithography which we keep here as a tribute to our former parent company.
Let's map out the business of MAPPER Lithography: the company has had developed specialized lithography equipment used in semiconductor production. (MAPPER stands for "Multi-Aperture Pixel-by-Pixel Enhancement of Resolution," which is the name of the company's proprietary technology.) Lithography is a key process by which circuit patterns are inscribed into silicon wafers. The company had technology partnerships with Philips and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing. The MAPPER technology grew out of research at the Delft University of Technology, unfortunately, the company, established in 2000, went bankrupt in January 2020 after 20 years of outstanding technology development.
