Amerijet International moves freight by multiple methods -- not only in the Americas and not only by jet. The company provides scheduled air cargo services in North, South and Central America, Mexico, the Caribbean, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, with a fleet of about 15 Boeing aircraft. Amerijet also arranges ground transportation of its customers' freight in North America and offers air and sea freight forwarding services worldwide. (As a freight forwarder, the company buys capacity from transportation providers and resells it to customers.) The company maintains about 370,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space. Miami-based investment firm H.I.G. Capital Management owns a controlling stake in Amerijet.
