      Entretien

The interview process consists of quite a few steps, which feel like you’re getting somewhere until you reach the end of their process. To start, they will ask you to come in person for an in person interview. You’ll most likely be amongst others that are also interested in the position and you’ll meet the VP of Sales who is a nice guy. When I came to their SF office, they had maybe 4-5 sales people and most of their sales team seemed nice but very junior in their careers. After the first in person meeting, the VP of Sales will try his hardest to sell you on the vision of the company and will tell you that they do not negotiate salaries. You’ll then be asked to complete a behavioral assessment and then they schedule a 40 minute demo for you to present to their team. Fast forward to me completing their online assessment, I then scheduled time to present the demo to their VP of Sales. The VP of sales and the recruiter get on the call, I begin presenting the 40 minute demo and 5 minutes later the VP of Sales tells me to stop and that I do not need to go any further. I said “Really?”, okay, “should I stop presenting then?”, he said “Yes”. So, I stopped presenting and he told me that "I do not need to go any further and that it’s clear that I know how to do the job and that we should proceed with the next step in the process". Fast forward to after the scheduled demo, we then moved to an in person meeting with their CEO. I met their CEO in person. We had a great conversation in person. I left their office feeling good after our conversation and shortly after their recruiter followed up with me, asking me to schedule a time to discuss my final offer with the CEO and the VP of Sales. Shortly after, we had a meeting scheduled with myself, the VP of Sales and the CEO scheduled to discuss my offer, which was just an extension of what was previously discussed in person. I wanted to negotiate the salary slightly due to receiving other competitive offers and they told me that they would be fine negotiating with me and that I would just need to complete a demo for the CEO prior to that discussion. After this call, I was a little perplexed because we had previously had an entire 40 minutes blocked out for this presentation a few weeks ago which was 3 steps prior in this interview process. I asked them why we did not record this call on the day that we had this initial demo scheduled three weeks ago and they had no response for me besides, "I'm sorry". I'm not thinking that we'd have to go back to that step again, but that's fine, I had no issues demoing the platform because it was not difficult at all and I knew how to navigate it with ease. After this discussion, I agreed to demo their platform and they told me that they would have their recruiter reach out to me within 48 hours to schedule the demo. After that call, radio silence for almost two weeks with no follow-up. Two weeks passed and they completely ghosted me with no response and when I reached out to them to check on this process (with them knowing I was also interviewing and weighing out other offers), they told me they filled the position and even had the audacity to tell me that if they had another position open that I would need to go through the entire process all over again. Had I not reached out to their recruiter, I'd be wasting the time of other companies who gave me real offers which in some cases I actually turned down for this company which is just pathetic seeing how they treated me and showed their true colors in real time. This company showcased a serious level of unprofessionalism, disrespect and a complete waste of my time so I’m hoping this review can help others as I do not believe that it is difficult to be honest and up front with people, it says a lot about your character as a person and an organization. Before interviewing here, please read my review. This review is a REAL account of my time, effort, energy and my experience.
