Initial steps: the process started by sending a list of documents through the website. An automated e-mail follows. Then, a human replies quickly to set up the interview. During the first interview: - Team members: fair questions on the technical side, chat about projects and experience from both the company and the candidate side. Description of the team, plus also the company and core values. - HR: asking more or less common questions. Also answering regarding the work environment within the company. - Overall: awkward or even awful experience at some point. This might have to do with external praise... Professionalism is displayed at times, but not necessarily consistently: at some point presenting bewildering and not courteous behaviour. HR kept on pressing for an answer when indicated not to please continue on that direction and rejecting the alternatives suggested by the candidate to answer the question. That gradually moved from an unsettling atmosphere to a hostile one, in an unprecedented way. Besides that, another employee addressed the candidate using a wrong name and did not react even when indicated about the mistake. Except for one employee, that was not a friendly or pleasant environment. After the interview: HR got back to the candidate quickly and informed about the rejection.
