J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez trivago (Düsseldorf) en sept. 2018
Entretien
Video presentation that you have to upload (can take a while, depending on your internet speed). Then a quick call to plan a Skype interview (if your videos were good). The interview was conducting by an extremely young person, who was not experienced enough to correctly conduct a professional interview. I felt like Trivago was the perfect company for young people who are seeking for "managerial" position, even though they have no experience (nor professional attitude) at all. You can start in a position in phone-sales and be manager a year later... It's ike you don't need REAL skills to work there.
Easy and welcoming. Interviewer made me very relaxed and I never felt nervous. There were 3 callbacks. Hiring happened via a recording, then I had 2 phone calls. Last step was a personal interview, after which I was offered the position

This interview was held on Hirevue where you have to answer some question by recording yourself. You can do some tries but once you start it doesnt allow you to see them twice

Entretien
Easy. First recorded interview. If you get to the next step hr calls you for short interview (they ask a few things about your cv and why you want to work in sales, what the people you know would say about you..)
Last step is an Skype interview with the manager (also pretty predictable questions about why you like sales, how trivago makes money, sell something)
