      J'ai passé un entretien chez roadsurfer

      One of the most disrespectful interview process I've ever gone through. I had one interview with the recruiter, and one technical interview. - After the latter , I was told I'd hear about next steps "by next week at the latest" - After 3 weeks without hearing from them, I reach out and they told me "There is nothing that would make us stop the process for now", implying a new interview was coming - 4 more weeks go-by without hearing from them, until i reach out again - Eventually, 7 weeks later, they decline me with a standard automated email. The whole process showed very little respect for the candidates' time and effort in front of the company's benefit. The interview itself was about Python, SQL and Time Series forecasting. The Python part was interesting. They showed me some functions and I had to understand what they did (zscores, moving averages etc...). Then they showed me a time series datasets fro Kaggle and I had to verbally elaborate a strategy to solve the challenge The SQL part was very poorly prepared. They asked me to remember by hearth the difference between a different types of RANK() functions, which tells absolutely nothing about someone's ability with SQL. I've been working with SQL daily for the past 8 years, and I didn't remember the answer, while somebody who just completed a beginner course but never worked with SQL could. Overall, I'll never apply again for any of their roles
