I took time off of work to speak with several (over five) current team members. After the final interview, the HR manager said she would follow up on the "next steps." One week went by, several follow-up emails and phone calls later, I never got an answer. Never got a "hey thanks, but we're not looking to hire." I thought ghosting was a thing on dating apps, apparently, it also happens in the interview process.
