Process took about a month from application to hire date. -Applied online, received an email about a week later for a telephone interview -Emailed a coding challenge a couple days later (no time limit and you're able to use Google to look up methods, documentation, etc) -Received a telephone call a week later to schedule interview with lead developer -Final interview with CEO a week after first interview Applied online from the company website and was emailed about a week later for a telephone meeting with a recruiter. The telephone interview asked the basic behavioral questions (what I'm looking for in the company, goals for the future, explain things on my resume, rate my java ability, etc). At the end of the interview I asked what the next steps were and the recruiter told me that she thought I'd be a great fit and would send me the coding challenge in a few hours. I had to email her the next day to actually get the challenge which was a java file that had errors....the task was to fix it. After my submission I was contacted a week later for a meeting with the lead developer. This interview was more technical. I was shown methods and asked what they did, ways they could be improved, or any problems that could arise from the code. A week later I was contacted for the final interview with the CEO. A mix of behavior and technical. The technical I was shown an example of what a client wanted and asked how to I would implemented it (no coding, more of a pseudocode/explaining my implementation process). At the end I was asked salary range, when I would be able to start, etc. I received the offer letter a few days later.
