I was contacted very quickly after submitting my resume and portfolio, they set up a video interview. It was a little weird because it wasn't a "live" video interview with a person. It was a system where you had a set amount of time to answer a question and it was recorded. It was meant to make the process smoother and make it so you could do the interview at your connivence, but for somebody who likes to be prepared and have human interaction, it was a little stressful. All in all, that part went well though and I was moved on to the next step. After the video interview I had a phone call with the recruiter, then a phone interview was set up with the design lead. After that they were narrowing down candidates and used a short design challenge for the last step of the interview. They paid me for my time spent on the challenge.
