Got told off by the interviewer for being 5 mins late due to a work call, even after having apologized. He said "I don't appreciate candidates joining late for interviews". I have been on several interviews, and taken just as many. Never have I told off anyone or been told off by anyone for being a few minutes late. I politely declined to continue the process as his condescending and pompous attitude clearly reflected the plethora of negative reviews about the company. Advice to the company and hiring managers - treat candidates and your employees with some professionalism and respect. They're not your servants and you certainly don't get to tell off people who haven't even begun to even interview for your company. Sheesh
