J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez impact.com (Santa Barbara, CA)
Entretien
I recently interviewed for the CSM role across two different teams, and both times, the interviewers had their cameras off. One was five minutes late and conducted the entire interview with their camera off, while the other had Wi-Fi issues and also remained off-camera.
When confirming the interview, the company emphasizes the importance of having a strong internet connection and being prepared for a remote interview. However, both interviewers were unprepared, which led to a poor candidate experience.
A successful interview should be a two-way effort—candidates shouldn’t be the only ones ensuring a smooth experience; interviewers should also uphold the same standards.
I previously admired this company, but after these experiences, I’m glad I won’t be joining a culture that sets expectations for candidates but fails to meet those same expectations themselves.

After applying, I received an email inviting me to a phone interview—great. I selected one of the recommended time slots and replied with a confirmation email. However, no one called me at the scheduled time. I sent a follow-up email, but received no response.

Great experience.
3 rounds - Screening with HR, First Interview, Task (presentation to basically see if I know what I’m talking about), then lastly the final interview where they asked some team questions.
