iRhythm The first-round interview was a phone call with one recruiter from iRhythm. He was really patient and friendly. I had a pleasant talk with him. During the interview, he asked about my past work experience as a designer, my understandings of iRhythm, and my typical design process. Besides that, he also introduced the company business and benefits. After that, I moved to a video interview with a senior product designer at iRhythm. She was in travel and seemed a bit tired for the interview. As a result, she asked me why I did not follow the material design interaction patterns while the project I introduced was actually based on iOS. I think she was lost or did not pay attention on my presentation. I understand I was rejected mostly because I lack work experience on medical devices. However, a respectful attitude for the candidate’s time during the interview process will be highly appreciated.
