Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez iHeartMedia
Entretien
I was referred by a previous coworker. The interview process, from the initial phone call interview to my last, went on for two months. I interviewed with a manager who had me move on to the next steps which was coming in a presenting a pitch on why a company should advertise with iHeartMedia. This presentation took me a total of 5 hours to complete. A ridiculous amount of research on iHeartMedia and on how to put a radio ad pitch together took a majority of the time. I was lucky because my friend that works there helped me a lot. After two weeks the manager got back to me and had me come in. I came in AGAIN and had a 15 minute interview with the head of a radio station. After that they said they were going to see if the head of sales was busy so I could talk to him? He was busy so the manager said we will we up another day for me to talk to him. Really another day of coming back her and taking off of work at my other job???? Okay. Another two weeks go by and the manager tells me her team is full? So did I get rejected yet? No. Also, they never had me meet with the department of sales even though I was told I was going to have an interview with him. The manager then proceeds to attach a name to the email of another manager who I should contact because maybe I could be put on his team. I contact him and he is incredibly cold, very unlike the first manager. I semi explain to him I have been through the interview process already but he continues to go on about preliminary questions about my resume?? Like okay I did this all already two months ago. After telling me he will get back to me the next day he doesn’t. After two follow up emails he emails me two weeks later and says he hired someone already. This was overall extremely frustrating, unprofessional, and a waste of time.

It’s a long process. It was also super chaotic because they were going through a restructuring at the time (get used to that if you work there), so they actually retracted the offer at the last second (over voicemail), then ghosted me, then offered me the job.

Good company and quick process from the start all the way to the finish. Completed in less then 2 weeks from my 1st round interview. Offer letter was clean and accurate.

It was straightforward for this position. In learning more about the role, how very head hunter and sort of cut throat in gaining sales, even not in your territory, I didn't believe it wasn't the best fit for me. If you have a connection or relationship with someone in a certain account or industry, even if it may not be assigned to you, then you can take the sale away from the designated account executive. No half or anything. So you could be working, nurturing, and building the relationship and someone can come in and just take it away instead of working together and fostering a more collaborative approach.
As a "bonus" to the interview, they wanted me to make an introduction of a relationship I had with someone in the industry or account that I would potentially sell to and wasn't comfortable fostering that conversation and opted of the interview process.
