      Entretien

My overall experience with the interview process at iCIMS was mixed, but the most disappointing part was the communication from the Talent Acquisition Partner. The interview structure itself was fine — Recruiter screening Interview with a manager Technical assessment Final technical interview The second-round manager was actually very supportive and open, even though he wasn’t connected to the hiring team and didn’t have details about the role. I appreciated how respectful and encouraging he was. But after that, the Talent Acquisition experience went downhill. After completing the technical assessment (which was very easy), I reached out twice for an update and was completely ignored for almost two weeks. Then out of nowhere, I was told I was moved to the final round. The final technical interview went great — answered the questions well, solved the coding problem, and completed a system design exercise. A few days later, I got a generic rejection email. I politely asked for feedback, but the Talent Acquisition Partner ghosted me again. What concerns me is that this wasn’t just my experience. A friend of mine applied for the same role and was told she would call him for a screening, but he was ghosted for more than a month. His process only restarted much later, again with no explanation. This inconsistency wasn’t a one-off — it happened with the same Talent Acquisition Partner. Overall: The engineers and managers I met were great — respectful, technical, and genuinely good to talk to. But the Talent Acquisition communication felt unprofessional and extremely inconsistent. Being left without updates, ghosted multiple times, and ignored when politely asking for feedback made the entire process unnecessarily stressful and disappointing. iCIMS could offer a much better candidate experience simply by improving communication, giving timely updates, and acknowledging follow-ups. Even a short message goes a long way.
