      I am not surprised to read that the majority of interview experiences are rated poor to mediocre, if at all. ecosio generally maintains a highly disrespectful and unethical hiring culture, which makes candidates question what the overall work culture at this company may look like. I was approached by the recruiter on LI after being rejected for a different role a few months earlier. This generally sounded positive; however, I was still sceptical since my previous application had been quickly rejected without any feedback, despite requesting the same, and after finding out that the role, which had apparently already been filled, was still being actively advertised and recruited for. Clearly, ecosio is far from being transparent when it comes to candidate communication. It seems very obvious that they are is primarily looking to fill their candidate pipeline rather than actual positions, which certainly fits the pattern I have repeatedly experienced with this company repeatedly. What happened next, after being approached by the recruiter, who stated in her message that the field marketer role seemed more suitable for my profile than the previous partner marketing opening. What followed was a quick call in which I raised questions regarding the seniority of the role, including the final title and compensation. Like many companies these days, ecosio looks to combine high role ownership, commitment and steep expectations with mid-level compensation. In my case, I found this particularly ridiculous when the recruiter simply matched my previous salary expectation based on the role I had previously applied for (partner marketing), with the current opening. My field marketing experience, which she acknowledged without a doubt, is by far more substantial than my experience with partner marketing. Hence, expecting me to agree to a salary, which, on top of that, is even below my current compensation, while not even considering a title adjustment reflecting my seniority, is simply audacious. The call was open, friendly, yet mutually concluded after a few minutes, given the aforementioned discrepancies, and with the recruiter confirming to get back to me within a few days to update me on whether we would be moving forward, given my requirements. It doesn't come as a surprise that I never heard back until today. ecosio's cheap and treacherous tactics have undoubtedly once again unfolded in their sheer clarity, making them the last company I would ever want to engage with.

      The process started with a video call with HR then a second video call followed with the VP of Marketing and HR, where we went more in depth about the role, the goals for Ecosio. Both conversations were engaging and gave me a genuine sense of the company's direction. They also had been transparent about the process : four steps in total (HR, VP + HR, case study, and final offer). That clarity was appreciated. Which made the ending all the more disappointing. I received an automated rejection email. Given that we had already had two conversations, this felt like a poor way to close the process. I took the time to reply to the email asking for some feedback in order to improve and never received a response.
