I completed all interview stages and reached the final GSDD Since I joined remotely, the process was frustrating. their remote setup kept failing, and I lost half a day just trying to connect. Had to wait till their lunch time to get little support when issues came up.
Even when I got stuck, there wasn’t much support from their side. On top of that, It took a lot of extra time just to understand how things were structured. All the things happened in a very poor and unorganised way, which made the whole process unnecessarily difficult.
After the final presentation, it seemed like they were happy with my work. Two days later, I received an email from the recruiter asking for my availability for a feedback call, which gave me some hope. However, after two more days, I got a phone call saying, “Unfortunately, you haven’t delivered what we expected.”
It would have been better if they had sent detailed feedback over email rather than giving false hope through a call request.
Overall, the process felt stressful and unfair to remote candidates. The recruiter was friendly, but the setup and evaluation method were disappointing. This is all for just 9 months short-term contract and what seems like poor work-life balance, I’m relieved I wasn’t selected.
