      Inhuman Treatment Of A Candidate By Ghosting. I was contacted by a recruiter from AMS who hire for BP. The whole process took 3.5 months and 5 rounds of technical interviews. This is very slow but I did not complain as the recruiter(who was not helpful at all and I had to chase her for scheduling next rounds) kept saying that it's because of a large number of candidates being interviewed. All interviews were scheduled online on MS Teams. After all this the LEAST a candidate expects is a REJECTION EMAIL IF YOU DECIDE NOT TO HIRE. You should at least have the DECENCY TO SEND A REJECTION EMAIL to a candidate who has put so much effort and time. But this recruiter from AMS ghosted me after 5 rounds. I sent two very polite reminder emails requesting a feedback or decision keeping other recruiters from AMS in cc who were sending me calendar invites. I never got a response. This violates BP's code of conduct(mentioned below) which they mention very proudly on their website 1. Do the right thing (Clearly this is not the right way to treat a candidate) 2. Be Accountable (Zero accountability towards candidate being interviewed) 3. Be Kind (It's inhuman to treat a candidate like this after months of interviewing) 4. Put yourself in other people's shoes (Clearly you have no idea how it feels being treated this way)

Then we should evice based on priority where an entry is chosen based on LRU policy Trapping of rain water leetcode medium problem and as an improvement I was asked to do the same in 2-d array One leetcode medium problem where it was required to sort the array and then perform some operation on it. Two rounds of system design.

      It was a poor experience — three interviewers were present, but only one asked questions while the other two seemed disengaged and uninterested. The interview seemed unnecessarily lengthy, with much of the time spent on unproductive discussion.

      First rounds are technical i.e coding round 3 questions, one of array, string and dp Then if you clear the above then comes the interview they will most probably segregate into batches. There are 2 rounds here, technical and hr. Although they mentioned they didn't have any certain no. to hire but out of 30 only 10 were chosen for hr rounds and a total of 5 students were hired. I would say luck played a good role here

      I was asked about hashing and collisions and one group the anagrams question in dsa and others were all core like dbms, networking and OS. Interviewer was quite friendly but they didn't venture into projects or core oops as i had expected though only that was a downer.

      Entretien

      The recruitment process is conducted on campus and includes several stages. First, candidates will take an Online Assessment (OA) to evaluate their skills and knowledge. Following this assessment, selected candidates will participate in a Technical Interview, where they will demonstrate their technical abilities and problem-solving skills. Finally, the process concludes with an HR round, where candidates will discuss their fit for the organization, share their experiences, and ask any remaining questions.

      Question 1

      I had an interview that included several components. First, I tackled two Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) questions: one from Arrays that could be solved using a HashMap and another one from Graphs. The Graph question proved to be quite challenging. I wasn’t required to write the entire code, but I needed to explain the overall flow of the code. After that, I provided pseudocode and discussed any necessary optimizations. Next, they asked me questions on various computer science fundamental topics, including Computer Networks (CN), Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Database Management Systems (DBMS), and Operating Systems (OS). In my case, they focused heavily on DBMS since it was highly mentioned in my resume. I was asked questions about normalization, including the First Normal Form (1NF), Second Normal Form (2NF), denormalization, and other related topics. Following that, we moved into the project and internship section, where they inquired about my real-world, industry-relevant experience. They asked detailed questions about my projects, including whether my project had been deployed, and they verified its deployment. After all these discussions, they scheduled my HR round immediately, where I answered typical HR questions, particularly regarding why I wanted to join BP. The interview feedback was positive, and I was informed that my chances of moving forward were high. However, after two weeks, I was not shortlisted because they preferred candidates with a Computer Science background.
