J'ai passé un entretien chez Zoom Communications (Londres, Angleterre)
Entretien
I applied through the company careers page and received an email from a recruiter about 5 days later inviting me to an initial screening.
Interview Process:
The process consisted of three stages:
1. Recruiter Screening (30 mins):
A casual phone/Zoom call discussing my previous customer service experience, availability, and why I wanted to work for Zoom Video Communications. The recruiter also explained the role expectations and shift patterns.
2. Hiring Manager Interview (45 mins):
Conducted over Zoom. Focused on behavioral questions and situational scenarios. They were particularly interested in how I handle difficult customers and multitasking.
3. Final Interview / Mock Scenario (45–60 mins):
This included a role-play exercise where I had to respond to a frustrated customer experiencing technical issues with video calls. I was evaluated on communication, empathy, and problem-solving.
The interview process seemed primarily focused on meeting specific performance metrics, rather than assessing my skills or experience in depth. It felt more like a numbers-driven evaluation than a genuine discussion of my qualifications.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
The interview questions were fairly standard and generic, mainly revolving around my past experience and why I was interested in the position. There was little exploration beyond these surface-level inquiries, lacking depth or specific insight into the role.
