Sourcer/Recruiter reached out, unsolicited, via Hired.com. Then I had a zoom video call with a Zoom recruiter for 45 mins. Recruiter told me that I might not be a good fit for the position but a possible better fit for another future position. No communication from anyone at Zoom afterwards. At this point I still have not officially applied or filled out any online/offline applications for the position. Today, I received an automated response from Zoom, as if I had filled out an application in their application tracking system. This is totally unexpected and unprofessional. I appreciate a simple email note much more, as this was an organic communication. This leaves me guessing what information of mine is being tracked in their system?
