Zoom meeting interview with the recruiter followed by an interview with someone in Sales Enablement. The recruiter told me I could be a good fit and pushed me for a second interview but mentioned that the hiring Sales Enablement person requested candidates with good sales experience which was not my case since I come from a unified communications technical background so she advised me to put forward my knowledge of Zoom's competitors. Long story short, the interview with the Sales Enablement person went OK but she kept mentioning my lack of sales experience and I feel I could have said or done anything and everything, there was no way she would have given me a chance. I truly believe the recruiter set me up for failure, fully knowing I would not meet the Sales Enablement person's expectations. I feel like Zoom treats most candidates like statistics. The way their recruitment works clearly shows a great lack of empathy for candidates.
