Disappointing interview experience. For a Director-led conversation, I expected a more strategic and organic discussion focused on leadership, technical delivery and managing engineers. Instead, the interview was largely scripted and leaned heavily toward solution architecture. There was limited depth in areas typically associated with senior engineering leadership. This raised concerns about the level of experience and maturity at this level within the organisation. Based on this, I chose to withdraw from the process.
