      Taking forever. Offer was made weeks ago. Took over 3 weeks for background check to be completed. Recuiter ghosted me when I asked why. Accurate who does the background checks wouldn't anser any questions. When I finally go the report everything was negative. No crime, no nothing. So why over 3 weeks.

      I had three interviews. After the first, I was given literature to read regarding Zillow's 8 "core values." The next two interviews were consecutive. They were pretty standard, nothing remarkable one way or the other. However, I was told I would hear about the status of the role "after the weekend" at the conclusion of my third interview. The weekend came and went. I reached out a week after interview three just to check in on the status of the role. I figured I had been passed on, but I wanted to confirm. I received no response whatsoever. Not getting the job is fine. That's life. But to have me interview three times and then ABSOLUTELY ghost me after giving me a timeframe to expect to hear back sends a clear message: my time didn't matter, my experience didn't matter, and I didn't even matter enough to say "thank you, but no." Remember the "homework" they gave me after interview one? The PDF patting themselves on the back for the core values that they asked me to study? Here are the four they violated just during the interview process: Turn on the Lights (Transparency) We believe that information is power, and we’ve made it our business to increase transparency in real estate and within our company. Our purpose is to unlock information and empower our people, customers and partners to make better decisions. Do the Right Thing (Integrity) We believe trust is earned, and we work to gain it every day. We act with integrity at every turn, speak up even when it’s difficult and do what’s right even when no one is watching. Better Together (Teamwork) We know we’re stronger when we work together as a team. We value what each and every person at Zillow brings to the table, and we strive to consistently treat each other with respect, empathy and appreciation to serve our customers, community and partners. Own It (Accountability) We say what we’ll do and do what we say. We hold ourselves and each other accountable, and we treat Zillow resources like our own. Another mega corporation that had its HR department cook up some phony statements they can point to in order to fire people but have no intention of actually practicing otherwise. Guess I dodged a bullet here.

      The interview was an easy process with 2 interviewers. They asked about previous photography experience, and your experience with certain equipment like drones, 360 cameras, and camera gear. They also asked basic questions relating to problem-solving and customer service.
