      J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 8 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Zillow (Seattle, WA) en avr. 2018

      Entretien

      Worst candidate experience I’ve ever been through. Phone screen, two in person interviews, final sit down with founder, Lloyd Frink. Overall, the process was chaotic and opaque. At the beginning of every in person interview I’d have to wait for someone to meeet me for 30 minutes( after being told to arrive 15 minutes early). In all phases of the process they would tell me they’d get back to me in 1-2 days and it would instead take 2-3 weeks. In addition, I would have to proactively reach out for updates. I’ve also never heard of an interview process that requires three in Person interviews (with no reimbursement for transportation). Finally, Lloyd was unengaged: he checked his phone, yawned, and wasn’t sure what role I was interviewing for. The on-site recruiter didn’t even bother calling to tell me I didn’t get the job, opting to communicate through email to the external recruiter. Zillow didn’t owe me anything other than valuing my time and they clearly didn’t.

Of course it was very concerning to hear that you had a poor experience both with the process and with our team. I am also hearing that some of the information of services we provide (such as parking and Uber expenses) and overall candidate communication, updates and closure were not communicated to you accurately from our search partner, so that is a good take-away for us as well.       Remote 2 phone screens and a set of 5-6 hour long interviews with a variety of people in the reporting chain and as peers - ex design, and engineering. It was a nice set of behavioral interviews and I appreciated the chance to interview for fit as well as role success.
