The interview process consisted of 3 rounds - Aptitude, and 2 technical rounds. Aptitude test: There were around 100 candidates and out of them around 10 got selected for the next round. The questions were from logic, data interpretation and verbal ability but were mainly focused on logical problem solving. The difficulty level for logical questions was quite high but the other sections were at a medium to easy level of difficulty. Those who cleared this round were informed immediately after the test and were told to give a preference among testing and web development. You can choose either one of them or both. But if you select both then you will be considered for testing only if there are vacancies left after the candidates who have selected only testing are evaluated. They said they will call to schedule the next interview. I received a call within 2 days for the 1st technical interview. Technical Round 1: This test was conducted by a panel of two. Both of them were extremely helpful and the environment was quite relaxed. They asked 4 logical puzzles. You have to show them how you come up with the solution. The only question apart from the puzzles was to ascertain whether we had a general idea about software testing. After this round they said they will call the candidates who cleared this round within a week. But I received the call after around 2 weeks. Technical Round 2: This was the final round and was conducted by two higher level employees. They asked a logical puzzle which was much more difficult than the ones in the first round. Then they asked about the types of testing. Then they give some object and ask you to write the test cases for it. You have to be quite exhaustive and write all the test cases. As this was the final round they informed that the results will be conveyed via a call in 4 to 5 days. I finally received a call after 3 weeks and as I had not done well in the second round I was offered a contract position for one year which would be made permanent based on performance. As the salary for the contractor position was quite low as compared to the permanent position I declined.
