Zendesk Singapore is not the Zendesk you think you're applying, if these practices are company wide, then I'm double disappointed. I withdrew my application.
I have been in an out of their interviews for the past 4 months, I spent at least 3 days worth of time for the interviews. Took some of the interviews twice! And twice they called me to say something along these lines:
"...interview is very positive but we'd like to see other candidates, because you don't have an urgency and because you did solo development for the last couple of years (weirdest excuses I've ever heard). We'll let you now in a month, but it can be longer or shorter we don't know..."
I find this behaviour very unprofessional and unethical. If a candidate have an urgency or not is none of your business, neither if the candidate did solo development for some time or not. You either say yes or no.
At the end, I decided that a company that's unable to decide wether to accept or reject, that doesn't value my time/life cannot be a company for me. It certainly is not the Zendesk I dreamed I was applying for, so I withdrew my application.
I came here to write about all the weird things that happened in detail, but I realised this is still stealing my time. I've already spent way to much time for them, and I don't want to any more.
My advise is; approach with caution.

1. HR interview, just a chit chat.
2. Assigned to do a take home project for a week. I finished the project really carefully and well.
3. HR manager interview again (?) but It's actually with the boss you will be working with. We went over my resume. He was so condescending and acted like he is above me. He kept belittling my current company. He said that "your work is not complicated i've seen your product". Not sure what his problem is. I was also asked a BS question such as "why should we hire you". I can't believe a company is still asking such question in this day and age. At this point i already knew i wouldn't want to work with such a character. Ended the interview and he stopped the call before i even finished saying bye.
4. It's been more than 2 weeks. After spending a week on a useless project, i gained nothing :) not even a rejection letter. They didn't even give me a chance to prove my technical ability through interview.

I had a call from them after 2 months of applying for the position. First off, they had HR to call me for their normal phone interview , a bit technical thou, as they are most probably given a list of questions from Tech team. 2nd, the gave me about 3 different projects for me to work on as part of interview. After i have submitted, i have to go through another online coding interview with one of their lead engineer (very cool guy). After that, i was asked to fly to Singapore and have a 3 hours/ 3 different on-site interviews. 1st hour was more of white board interview, 2nd is more of technical exploration (talks about my past projects) and last one is cultural interview.
