I was looking to switch companies, and one of my friends suggested switching to ZAPTA Technologies as he was friends with the CEO who attended the same university and the same classes. When I applied, HR took an initial screening interview where he asked me non-technical as well as technical questions. After passing the first interview, I was told to be prepared for the second interview with the design team which was a technical interview. I also successfully passed that interview, and HR sent me a lengthy assignment with a submission time of 1 day. Keeping in mind I was already doing time with my current company and no Pakistani startup companies let go of their employees under 9 or 10 hours. So, I had 4 hours to complete and submit the assignment. Anyway, even after passing in the assignment the HR told me about another interview with the design team because this time they had to check if I was up-to-date with Figma and knew all shortcut keys and functionalities. It was my 4th interview with ZAPTA's team. After passing the 4th interview, I was then again told by the HR for another on-site interview with the CEO. After meeting with the CEO and having an awesome chat where we both had a great time and giggled while keeping everything formal, I received no news about my hiring. I spent time contacting both of the HRs at the time to at least tell me if I failed and give me some feedback, but I didn't get anything from them. I found out one of my designer friends was working there and I asked him to find out what happened with my application and he told me that I was rejected because my demand was too high for them. They expected to hire a candidate with 5 years of experience for under 80K / Month while my previous company was willing to pay me 200K / Month at the time of my resignation.

They called me for an assessment at the site after a screening interview, the environment and culture are really good. They gave enough time for the task and after the task they took the interview and I presented. Attitude was really positive
