Definitely my strangest interview experience so far. I applied for the role and a few days later I received an invitation for an interview with the hiring manager. The interview was scheduled for 30 minutes and went smoothly, at the end I was informed that I made to the next interview round and I was asked to prepare a few things and wait for further instructions.
2 weeks pass by without a word until I email the recruiter asking about next steps, she replies apologizing for the delay and tells me that I will receive an update shortly.
A few days later I receive a call from yet another HR person (which I haven’t been in contact with before), and she informs me that in fact I haven’t made it to the next round because I don’t fit the requirements for the role even though the interview went great.
Overall, they were all nice and friendly but you can tell the teams lacked organization and coordination between them. At least they are hiring someone to improve their employer branding ?
