      Entretien

      The first round is aptitude. Here is a little trick for this, after having applied thrice and learning from my friends. The aptitude exam which is conducted on Talview is flawed. There will be about 45 questions and 40 mins to solve. However, you need not solve all of them. Try to attempt as many questions as you can accurately in the first 30 min. (Note- It is difficult to solve all of the questions in 40 mins) In the next 5 mins, whatever questions are remaining do some guesswork (no negative marking is there) and choose any of the option. Now you will be left with 5 mins. Just submit the test despite the remaining time. Even if you don’t have time left to guesswork the remaining questions, make sure to click submit test. This will allow to you proceed to the next round (This is the flaw I mentioned initially). Now the next round or second round will be of a case study round immediately in the Talview platform itself. The test is of 30 mins. You are supposed to read the case study and answer MCQs based on that. Take note that they don’t mention the number of questions that will be asked however it is just 8 questions, so you can divide your time accordingly. Here again you need to click the submit button before to the time runs out in order to make it to the next round. The next round or the third round is a situational round. Here they will give you a question and ask you to answer in 3 mins. Here again they asked 8 questions which I will mention below. And once more again be vigilant, and you need to think fast to answer the question. The above three rounds are held in a day whose results are generally shared about a week later. If you’ve cleared all these rounds then positively you will make it to the next round which is the case study round once again but which you will be explaining to an employee of ZS. In the fourth round that is the case study round, they will present three cases and a total of 7 questions were there to answer. 3 question each for 2 cases and 1 question for the remaining case. This is fairly an easy round, they will ask you to make rough notes (answers) and then upload it into the Talview platform. The Test is generally conducted at 8:00 AM. It is about an hour long and then the between 10:00-12:00. They will assign an employee to understand your answers. The discussion lasts about 30 mins. You just need to be confident over here, the interviewer will try to stray you away from you answer, but you need to firmly hold you ground and say that your answer is indeed correct based on the assumptions you made in the give time. After this around 2:00 PM or 3:00 PM in the same they will call those who have been selected for the next and final round which is the EBL+FIT round (I don’t know what EBL stands for neither do the HR whom I asked, they just said that it was a behavioural round). This is the fifth and final round, Here they ask you some resume probing questions, behavioural questions and one guestimate or a puzzle. This round totally depends on the manager taking your interview. For me the person took the interview late at night past the dinner time. The manager was more interested in boasting about himself that he was from an IIT and he is this and that rather than getting to know me or why I would like to join ZS. Finally, when he did start asking me questions, He asked a difficult situation you faced while working in a team. So, while I was answering he interrupted me and asked me to give another example and a shorter one. I agreed to it and answered in about 2-3 lines max. The same thing happened for the next behavioural question which I will mention below. The last question that he asked was a guestimate, and he wanted an answer right away, without allowing me to think even for a minute. I obliged again, and answered in the best possible way quickly. Then he would find fault with my answer which I understand because that’s something which I didn’t have time to think about and answer it quickly. While I was trying to explain my approach, for some reason he started shouting and getting rude. It was pathetic. Further the interviewer did not even have his video on and it was a little weird to just look at the blank computer screen while answering the questions I had great expectations from ZS, but this one moment changed the perception I had about ZS associates. Everything was perfect but the final interview made me realize that ZS management is no better than the other service-based companies. Finally got the rejection, glad that I did, because having to work for such incompetent managers is worse than staying unemployed.

      Smooth and transparent. Technical and manager rounds are mostly constitutes around how you go about a problem/situation, thinking process and execution. Overall, the entire process depends on how you go about it, just need to be confident and cognitively strong with good thinking and problem solving skills

      The interview process was condensed to interviews, both split between a behavioral section and case study section. For the case studies they do require you to read many charts and graphs.

      1 apti, 1 case study. Both were online. Then case study interview. If that would have been clear, next would have been hr. Online case studty round had 2 case studies. One was easy, 2nd one was medium.
