Applied online - received a response within 24 hours with a request to set the first interview. Understandably, this was post lock-down, so my meeting was in person. I meet with their recruiter, Hailey who was personable and outgoing. She really appeared to enjoy what she was doing and working at ZLINE. The people I was to interview with were the department managers. Chloe and Michael. The interview was mainly focused on my previous work experiences and how I felt I would be a good fit for the position. Also, but not unexpected, why would I want to work for what was a reduced compensation from my previous employment. This can only be a personal answer and not a one size fits all. I was greatful for the opportunity to interview. I received a call that evening to schedule a second interview with the executive team and to complete an online accessment test. (a webcam is required) It was a mixture of reading comprehension, spacial recognition, and problem solving. At the executive interview, it was a whirlwind of questions but not a barriage of difficult ones but more to determine if I would be a good fit for the ZLINE culture. Apparently I was, as I was given an offer that evening. Overall, it has been almost 19 years since I last interviewed and didn't have high expectations but knew I had the entreprenureal experience and drive to be a good fit for this rapidly growing company. My recommendation - be yourself, be honest, be focused about your career goals. These will serve you well during your interviews with the ZLINE team.
