I was told they wanted the interview to be more like a conversation however made 0 attempts to turn it into a conversation. I gave some incredible answers that demonstrated my ability and passion perfectly, they seemed extremely interested to to my lived experience as well as my professional and academic achievements. I was then ghosted for 2 weeks and had to send multiple emails and calls before I got called by someone who I hadn't met to tell me I didn't get the job, and offered no feedback even when asked. They already knew they were hiring an internal applicant. They just had to advertise the job to be "fair", as if it was fair to have me strung along, willing to relocate for the job as I lived on the other side of Melbourne.
