I had applied on LinkedIn and I was reached out by the CRO. It was a normal 30 min chat followed by a second interview with Marketing Manager. For the 2nd interview, I was granted access to their Google Ads and GA platforms. I was asked to review the data on both platforms, and came up with recommendations on how to improve their campaign performance. After the interview, I reached out to both CRO and Marketing Manager for next steps; but I was ghosted by both. In retrospect, I understand they just wanted free consultation from someone to improve their digital marketing efforts; and didn't really plan to hire someone.
