Poorly Managed Interview Process – Lack of Transparency
I interviewed with Yodaplus for a QA position and found the overall process to be disorganized and lacking basic candidate communication.
After clearing the first round, I had to wait for almost 2 weeks before the second round was scheduled. Post the second round, there was again no update for 2 weeks. During this time, the Mgmt was unresponsive to calls. After following up via message, I finally received an email saying the position was on hold.
Surprisingly, after another 2 weeks, I was scheduled for a round with the senior leadership. The discussion went very well, and I received positive feedback, but eventually got an email saying I was not selected with no explanation.
If there were concerns related to CTC, fitment, or internal changes, it would have been more respectful and professional to communicate that clearly and earlier in the process. Instead, the long delays and poor follow-up created unnecessary frustration and wasted time.
Advice to management:
Please improve your hiring process. Be transparent with candidates and avoid dragging out the process unnecessarily. Candidates invest their time and energy please value that.
