J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez Yext (New York, NY) en avr. 2021
Entretien
The interview structure was pretty standard: phone screening followed by full day interview.
What stood out is the questions that were asked. Instead of generic ACM-like questions regarding standard algorithms, questions involved tasks similar to ones software engineer expected to face in the real world.
One of the most interesting interviews I’ve ever taken
Recruiter reached out and an interview was setup.
45 mins debugging interview to fix 5 test cases for a tree ordering function. Was able to fix the test cases in time and was positive to go further. No other questions asked.
Received a rejection next morning, no other explanation from the recruiter after follow up. Felt like a waste of my time.
