J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. J'ai passé un entretien chez Year Up United (Boston, MA) en févr. 2017
Entretien
The interview Process was extensive. The first step is a phone screening. The second is an in person interview with 2 members of the team. If accepted to move on to the next step you are then sent an assignment to complete under a deadline. I had to do a Data Analysis on Excel about the previous graduating class. Upon completion I then had a phone interview to explain my findings, process and analogy. Once accepted you have a last interview with 2 team members. This process lasted about a month. Although I did not get an offer the manager reached out to me personally to tell me that they hired internally and how impressed they were. She only gave all the positive feedback that she got from the interview process and invited to apply again and put her as a personal referral. I also would like to add that it is imperative to prepare for each interview the questions are extensive and require a lot of thoughts. They are really missing driven and require someone that is open and can multitasks efficiently.

I felt like I was dismissed rather quickly because of my age. It was evident within the first few minutes that my interviewer didn't feel I had the experience necessary.

About a 5 week process. I had an initial phone screening, then 2 in person interviews. I interviewed with 2 people for each in person so it wasn't bad. I thought my first in person was a lot harder because one of the interviewers kept interrupting me to ask a different question that was related to the first, so it was hard to back track to the first question. Otherwise, everyone was very kind and helpful with information.
