I applied to the position via Glassdoor/the company's website and was contacted by a recruiter fairly quick. They had me choose a time on their calendar for a 30 minute intro call and I did. The call was fairly relaxed and the recruiter was way going which made answering the questions a breeze. They told me the process would be to meet with a regional manager and then eventually another regional manager and the head of retail. A few days after sending my thank you email I was sent a BCC message from the recruiter (that included a FRWD message from another candidate that followed up) saying that they were going to fill the role internally. The pay for the role is hourly and is on the lower side for a SM position so I wasn't heart broken but I was disappointed in the lack of protection in other candidates personal information.
