I found the job ad from Naturejobs, and emailed my application. The PI replied very fast after two days, and phoned my current PI for recommendation letter. After the phone call, my current PI told me that this Yale PI is very happy with my back ground, and I got a big chance in getting the job. A few days later, I had a skype interview with the Yale PI and his senior postdoc. The interview was easy and fast. I gave a 40 minutes presentation of my current and previous work. They asked easy questions and described what they are doing in the lab. The Yale PI agreed to give me an answer within one week.
