Had to do a remote test first (translating/proofreading/sub editing) then got invited for an interview with the Product Manager and HR Recruiter and second written test. Interview was a really good experience, both employees were very friendly and put you at ease straight away, questions were quite basic so not too challenging if you prepare beforehand and it felt to me more casual than formal which gave me a positive outlook about the company. Whilst I got a very good feeling about the interview, the second test was very difficult, especially since you are not allowed any help, which I found a bit strange (unless you get glossary help). Surely you would think that employees are allowed internet help and glossaries specific to fashion terms when they're translating? Vocabulary was very fashion-technical, with words that even English native speakers wouldn't know how to explain! (I did check) No wonder why the ad has been up for quite a while, and it is such a shame when the interviewers are that good, they must be losing out on candidates with very good potential!
