No proper communication given at all... hiring for a crucial role and ensuring even if the candidate does not get through all the round; right communication is very important. Long interview process, HR representatives are super slow... post getting interviewed by the functional head, i was told that i am thru and the offer would be released in a week. later i got a call from the HR rep and she told there would be four more rounds.. this clearly shows miscommunication among themselves. Anyway, after getting interviewed by "all" the panel members, i kept on getting a vague response from the hiring spoc (HR rep) that she would let me know in some time... heights of ambiguity and it has been a month, no communication... be upfront in telling candidates whether they are shortlisted or not. A feedback is very important as the HR team plays a vital role in making or breaking the brand image in the market.
