Internal interview with person who had already decided who was getting the job

The interview process was based on an initiail telephone interview with HR. They asked about my background and exposure to client types and level of interaction. They then went into details regarding expectations and future direction interests and how my background is appropriate for the role in question. There were judgement questions regarding financial and salary expectations.
