      Entretien

Pros - -Friendly folk in general, don't make you look lower than themselves as some other co's do. -panel will ask focussed questions in the interview and actually show interest in your project, rather than generic questions. -2 or max 3 step interview process to come to a decision incl recruiter call. -People who interview you will most likely be those you'll work with -Feedback is provided in a timely manner and very objective. will explain both positives and negatives. - they are looking for cultural fit in Xero but also they respect your individuality. - whatever answer you give them, they'll respect that it was for a particular context or project. So they know you had worked in constraints and will only judge you from that lense. Cons - - their answers to your Q's are too simplified, and I didn't get clarity nor did they inspire trust that I'm going to a specific class of compnay - role as per level not explained i.e. senior vs lead vs manager vs principal etc. even tho I asked in the interview and to the talent team.. Only got a high level answer. Was expecting more clarity. Since our industry is not standardised, it's important - in the second interview (presentation) there were no UX researchers. Feedback could go very subjective since they're the consumer of the research deliverables, not the creator. - instructions from talent acq are slightly different from what happens in the interview so if you're not adaptable or thinking on your feet, then you may be a bit taken aback. Otherwise not a full con. - the questions may be too easy for the level you apply for but they'll still try to downlevel you which is a common practice in tech. But that 1 level down role may not be available at the time. Overall - Was not happy with the final outcome at this time BUT very good interview experience and I'd consider this company for future roles purely for how they made me feel valued and respected thru the process. A sign of how employees are treated.
