Applied online and got an email on the same day scheduling a phone interview. Interviewer rushed questions about work experience. Not very personal.
Interviewer asked if I was willing to relocate to Wellington, which I prompt replied with a negative. Then she told me that I applied for a job in Wellington, which wasn't true. I told her to double-check the job position on their careers page. She wasn't even aware there was a position available in Auckland. After that it seemed the interview was pointless for both of us.
2 weeks later I decided to follow up. No response. 1 more week and I finally got an automated message saying they decided to not progress with my application. The reason mentioned wasn’t aligned with the skills asked from applicants in the job description.
The whole process was very amateur and disrespectful leaving me with a negative perception of the company.

Entretien
It was an initial phone screening. Compared to other phone screenings, the recruiter had a neutral, unfriendly tone of voice and didn't seem to smile or make small talk it was just reading a standard script and asking the usual questions. It made me uncomfortable and left me with the feeling of having failed the interview despite the fact I met most of the job requirements. There were also some awkward silences after I had clearly finished speaking and it wasn't clear if she was listening or typing or waiting for me to give more detail.
I can only assume this attitude is a reflection of the company and I am never applying here again.
Positive process that offered challenge but also outlined the great opportunities they have. The managers were really open and honest where they had challenges too before someone signed the contract

Entretien
Tough questions (some weren't even role related) and overall the whole interview process of 7/8 stages is ridiculous. I would get it if they're larger companies like Google or FB but seems like they have the time and waste money just to hire for a general role.
