I participated in five rounds of interviews; upon completing the process, I proactively reached out via email to request an update. The response indicated that they had selected another candidate. While I appreciate the opportunity, I believe the process was quite lengthy, and it would have been preferable to clarify earlier if I was not being considered, rather than engaging in multiple interview rounds
