The process took two weeks. The HM announced that the position was filled but gave no reason why they continued the search. Additionally, the HM was very dismissive of my previous work and unkind.

A pretty straight forward interview process over a few hours with two different sets of managers and supervisors asking questions. For a entry level position they want someone with far too much experience handling qPCR and PCR. I think the just hire people who they can throw under a bus when crunch time comes. This is pretty apparent among other interviews and hire reviews, but jobs are hard to find.
