The interview went well, at least I thought. It was a very laid back interview. They talked about the company and how they were restructuring their HR department. They just really wanted to get to know me as a person. It wasn't situational questions like typical interviews. They didn't ask for a resume, and I believe I asked before the interview had began if they wanted a copy. They seemed to think that was odd, but it was just something I was used to doing in interviews. The 2 individuals I met with were nice. They told me multiple times that my experience was perfect for the role. I thought for sure that I had nailed this interview. It wasn't until after the interview that I had a very negative experience. I believe all companies should notify a candidate if they didn't get the role. If you are in HR, you should feel comfortable turning someone down. I just feel like they made me feel like I was perfect for the job so the interview didn't feel uncomfortable. Just my opinion! I am sure it is a great place to work for, I just was hoping for the respect of a reply or follow up.
