Started with hiring manager, then followed with a meeting with hiring manager, after that was a panel interview, given a test evaluation, final meeting with hiring manager. Overall the process wasn’t too difficult but the interview process took a little over a month. The test evaluation wasn’t too difficult and was given on Friday so I had the weekend to work on it.

J'ai passé un entretien chez World Resources Institute

      Entretien

I had an extremely negative experience interviewing with World Resources Institute. The interview process was lengthy and exhausting, and the recruiter I worked with was incredibly discourteous and disrespectful. After the initial interview, I was left in the dark for nearly a month with no communication from the company. Eventually, the hiring manager reached out to me, only to ghost me for nearly two weeks after that. When she finally did get back to me, she told me that she didn't think I would be a good fit for the role and that I would be frustrated with the job and her ability to manage me effectively. I found this to be incredibly discriminatory and judgmental, especially given that she had initially told me that I was highly qualified. To make matters worse, she then went on to say that there were other applicants who would be able to step into the role more easily and that the company wasn't interested in training anyone. She even went so far as to suggest that my location on the West Coast would make it difficult for me to succeed in the role, despite my qualifications and abilities. Overall, my experience with World Resources Institute was totally unfair and unprofessional. The company clearly has a lot of work to do in terms of its hiring practices and treating candidates with respect and dignity. I would not recommend applying for a job with this company based on my negative experience.
