Phone call to request an in-person interview within 24-48 hours. When I arrived 5 minutes early, both the front desk receptionist and the person that was going to interview me were walking out of the building because they weren't sure if I was coming. It was then a 10-15 minute conversation describing a direct sales position that had nothing to do with the job description, or the information given on the phone. As I was coming from out of state, it was a waste of time for both of us, and I was extremely over qualified for the position they were interviewing for.
