      The interview process began with a phone screen. The recruiter I worked with seemed nice, although the process was fairly slow (a month between the first call and when I actually received an interview). After the initial screen, I met with the head of the department via a WebEx chat, which I thought was an interesting set up. It was explained to me that the interview process would be screen, WebEx, and then coming in to meet with team members for a round of interviews. The WebEx questions were basic (how does your experience pertain to this role, tell me about yourself, etc). It bothered me that the person I interviewed with did not bother to turn his web camera on-- what is the point of a WebEx Video chat with no video? He did not seem interested in me as a professional or how I could help the company in their mission, just seemingly tried to get over with it as quick as possible which left me feeling a bit disengaged. A few weeks went by until took the initiative to inquire with the recruiter about the status, then received a generic rejection via email not even 30 minutes later. I agree with another poster here in the sense that they are essentially a small fish in a puddle instead of a big fish in a pond. I want a company to at least have basic decency in the interview process and I did not find that with this experience.
