This was a selection process for a senior position, with an experienced professional candidate first contacted by the company itself.
- Recruiter interview (curiously through an international phone call): knowledge making. Candidate, position and company basic presentations, questions about desired salary level, availability for relocation on own accord (despite the function being published as "possibly remote")
- Culture fit interview (conversational, through Teams): 2 management levels explaining more extensively about their own department structured organization, the product infrastructure and current open positions and needs, then inquiring about the candidate past experience and interactions when in similar functions. The interviewers arrived about 10mins later than planned, closed the meeting 10mins earlier.
Further feedback "on a short notice" was promised as part of the standard company selection process after the culture fit interview.
