J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Wise en janv. 2025
Entretien
I interviewed on-site at KL office, and was interviewed by 2 TLs. I was confident enough that my experience aligns with the job requirements, as I ticked every checkbox. But I was rejected as I was told that I'm overqualified. In fact, I was told a lot of times throughout the IV that I'm overqualified for the role.
The interview was not so tense, it feels kinda two-ways conversation rather than an interview. But to get rejected after that hassle to come to KL office (I traveled 4 hours from my state and I even stayed at a nearby accommodation to attend the IV), feels kinda discouraging to my self-esteem and my efforts.
Overall, it was a great experience, but I appreciate if the company instead can channel me to another department/division that best suits my qualification/experience. I understand if being 'underqualified' is a problem, but if I'm rejected for the fact that I'm 'overqualified', it's giving me ick feeling.

Hiring process takes so long, almost a month. Had a bad luck >> I encountered a team leader which has 0 empathy (probably sleepy while interviewing me since it was after their lunch break). Genuinely asking about the final process as they mentioned it would be a physical interview and how long would it take since I have another offer from another company at the moment. They cut me off even when I haven't finish talking and said "Oh its great that you have another offer", "Yeah you want the job, you gotta come here" something along the line & I asked them is there any arrangement for candidates coming from other states. It's 2025 and I can't believe Wise still wants candidates to travel from another states to Kuala Lumpur just to attend an interview that they're unsure of whether they will be getting an offer or not. Had bad impression with the interviewer as they seemed uninterested from the start, RUDE and aa for the hiring process, please hire someone who knows how to communicate with the candidates better.

The interview was done and it was tranquil, but the return/ feedback was done after 2 weeks (and the recruiter said that it should done after 1 week), So I sent an email asking for it, and I received a negative feedback.
